Not Just Mothers Who Suffer
A teenage boy who was repeatedly indecently assaulted by a woman in her thirties, has spoken about the effect that the experience has had on his life, particularly her decision to abort a baby he believes was his. "I don't think it was fair - the kid deserved a life," he said. "I wake up and say 'hello' and 'goodbye' to it every night - it's called Junior so whether it's a boy or girl doesn't matter." Amanda Jane James was convicted of indecent assault and placed on the sex offenders' register after a 3-day trial at Dorchester Crown Court. [Bournemouth, 10 July, SPUC]
