Human Cloning - A Warning from Dolly’s Cloner

Ian Wilmut, the researcher who cloned Dolly the sheep, has commented that virtually all the cloned animals he knows of are flawed in a major way. He has said in the past that Dolly has arthritis at an unusually young age, but he has now completed a study of the published results of cloning experiments in mice, sheep, pigs, and cows, and his feelings of unease have been reinforced.

Warning about human cloning, he is quoted by the Wanderer as saying, "There is abundant evidence that cloning can and does go wrong and no justification for believing that this will not happen with humans."
