Summer Opportunity for College Students

Would you like to spend 6 weeks this summer in Washington, DC, learning from some of the most knowledgeable pro-life people on the planet?
Want the know-how to accomplish your pro-life goals?
Want to know about how to make the system work for you? 

Then this is for you!  It’s the NRLC Life Academy, 6 weeks of intensive pro-life training at the National Right to Life headquarters.  The Academy runs from June 30, 2008 to Aug 9. 

Here’s a comment from a participant from last year, the NYS RTL scholarship winner:

The six weeks I spent at the National Right to Life Academy were incredible.  I was able to learn from some of the most intelligent and passionate leaders of the pro-life movement.  We studied every aspect of what it means to be pro-life – fighting euthanasia, infanticide, and abortion.  I now feel better equipped to represent the pro-life movement no matter where I am, whether in a media interview, lobbying a legislator, or just having conversations with my peers.  Thank you so much, New York State Right to Life, for giving me this wonderful opportunity!

The program is well worth the price, but do note that it costs $2,500.  Can’t afford it?  Read on. 

Do you live in NY State?  New York State Right to Life will be offering a scholarship for this program.  It covers the summer program and a required additional week of internship in the NYSRTL office in Albany, NY. 

Do you live or go to college in the vicinity of Rochester, NY?  Rochester Area Right to Life is offering a scholarship for the program, with the possibility of another similar scholarship for a second student.

Step 1:  Make an application to NRLC for the Life Academy.
