Permission required for a poster contest, but not for an abortion

Want to hear something funny? It has to do with the student contest for poster art that Planned Parenthood is holding to commemorate the 30^th anniversary or Roe v Wade.

Here’s the funny part: If a student is under age 18, he or she is required to have a parent or legal guardian's permission to enter the contest. It says so right on their teen website (at least as of today 11/16).

Note that if a student is 13, Planned Parenthood insists that she has a right to an abortion without notifying her parents. But to enter this contest, she has to not only notify them but also have their permission.
