March for Life in Washington, DC, in January, 2007

If you live in Rochester, NY, you might not even have known that there was a March for Life in Washington, DC, if you depended on the local media for your information.  From all reports, it was a wonderful event.  Just so you won’t miss out, here are some reports and commentaries.

President Bush gave a heartfelt message of encouragement in a telephoned address. Comments have been made that he should come in person, but the security requirements for his presence would probably damage the effectiveness of the March for those who attend.  So, hats off to Mr. Bush for helping in the very best way he can.

National Right to Life’s Dave Andrusko writes about what he saw and what he thinks. Included in his article are links to Mr. Bush, Congressman Chris Smith, and NRLC President Dr. Wanda Franz.
