Election results in our area of New York State

Congratulations, pro-life voters!  When there was a pro-life candidate, you voted for him or her!

You elected legislators who will represent our innocent, human family members.  Below are the candidates who were running for office in Monroe County and some of the surrounding counties who were endorsed by the Rochester Area Right to Life Committee PAC (Political Action Committee) as committed pro-life legislators.  The ones who won their races have been marked in red. (Data is from the Democrat and Chronicle and the New York State Right to Life office.)

In one race, we were so fortunate as to have two pro-life legislators running.  Obviously, only one could win, but it is heartening to actually have a real choice for pro-life voters.  Congratulations to the winner, but heartfelt thanks to both!

Nationally, there were many unexpected pro-life victories, leading to control of Congress.  Locally, most of the pro-life incumbents were returned to state and federal office.  In the state senate, pro-life Joe Robach won the seat held by abortion advocate Senator Dollinger.
