 Thursday, November 3   Rochester Area Right to Life Annual Meeting.  The speaker will be John Sullivan, MD, speaking on the topic of medical ethics, especially relevant to those concerned with life-preserving issues in hospital settings. Irondequoit  St. Thomas the Apostle’s Pro-Life Group  will have a bus leaving at 10 pm Sunday night from the St. Thomas the Apostle parking lot.  The cost will be $60 for adults and $30 for youth (all youth must be accompanied by an adult).  Contact MaryJo at (585) 771-0084.

Rochester  EARLY DEPARTURE for the March for Life Saturday morning, January 22.  Bus for youth grades 8 - 12 leaving from Holy Apostles Church, 530 Lyell Ave.  Trip will include staying in motel two nights, going to the Holocaust Museum, touring the monuments, Youth Mass and Rally at the Verizon Center and the March for Life.  This year Regents exams begin on Tuesday, January 25, so students and parents need to evaluate and determine whether they can go.  Students are encouraged to bring schoolwork with them on the bus to study.  The cost of the trip will be approximately $250 per student.  However, there have been many generous sponsors. On Saturday, November 27th at St. Peter’s Basilica, Pope Benedict XVI will celebrate a “Vigil for All Nascent Human Life” coinciding with first vespers of the First Sunday of Advent. The Holy Father has also requested …. analogous celebrations involving the faithful in their respective parishes, religious communities, associations be held....

St. John of Rochester will celebrate the vigil at 3PM, Saturday, November 27th in the Chapel. There will be a procession of children (please come a few minutes early to participate) followed by Exposition of the Blessed Sacrament and Benediction led by Father Peter.  We will end with the Rosary to our Blessed Mother.

Please join us for this very special prayer service during your Thanksgiving weekend.

Life Right RIT, a new student club on campus at RIT, is hosting the event, and it is being co-sponsored by Feminists Choosing Life.
