Now - applications due, but still accepting them (February)- National Right to Life Academy, a six-week summer training class in Washington, D.C., for college students. Saturday, March 27  Deadline for applications for the RARTL Oratory Contest 2010, to be held Saturday, April 10 at 11 AM.  $300 prize for the winner, who is eligible to participate in the NY State Right to Life contest.  Winner at the state level eligible to participate at the national level.  Prepare and present a 5 – 7 minute speech on abortion, euthanasia, infanticide, or stem cell research.  For questions or application forms call RARTL at 621-4690.  Application forms are also available at www.righttoliferoch.org/oratorical.htm  Contest rules cam be found at the National Right to Life Website www.nrlc.org/Oratory/Rules.html

  Saturday, March 27 Feast of the Annunciation.  A day to spend with others who support the Gift of Life.  Opening Mass at 9:00 AM celebrated by Fr. Saturday, March 27.  Family Life Conference in Yonkers, NY.  Keynote speakers Archbishop Timothy Dolan (Archishop of New York), Mrs. Helen Alvare (Professor at George Mason University School of Law), Fr. Charles P. Connor, Ph.D. (author and co-producer of several series on EWTN), Mother Agnes Mary, S.V.  Friday, April 2.  Stations of the Cross in Reparation for Abortion.  Gather at McQuaid Jesuit High School Chapel, 1800 S. Clinton Ave.  Stations outside nearby, led by priests, deacons, and religious.  Peaceful, prayerful, lawful.  Call Amy Dorscheid (467-8341) for questions.

Friday and Saturday, April 23 and 24.  Maxim Sharpening is again doing a benefit for Rochester Area Right to Life, donating half of their profits to us.  Joyce and Max will be at the Quilt Show, Spring Into Color, sponsored by the Lake to Lake Quilt Guild Friday and Saturday, April 23d and 24th.  The show is at the Marcus Whitman High School Gymnasium, 4100 Baldwin Road, in Rushville, NY.  Rushville is just east of Lake Canadaigua.  (Directions are available from the office.)
