There's a new stage in the human life cycle.  It's the one where you thought you were just about done raising your kids. Or maybe the last one has already moved on.    Then you found yourself with a grandchild and more-than-grandparent-ly responsibilities.

There are new issues that arise because now you are dealing with someone else's child and also the someone else, who may, in many ways, still be a child.  Even if the "someone else" isn't a child, she/he may be involved with drugs, alcohol, and/or a chaotic lifestyle.  In any case, you need information.

We're looking for sources of information and services in the general Rochester, NY, area to help teen parents and their parents. When teen parents are good parents, everybody benefits.

RARTL has as its focus abortion, infanticide, and euthanasia.  Parenting is outside our area of expertise.  However, we have some teens from Spencerport High School who are interested in the issue and they'd like to see helpful information on this website.  They are willing to provide the muscle to make it happen.  What would help you?  What would you like to see?   We want your input.  Whether you have questions or information to offer, please contact us!
