It's been rewarding to find out how many pro-life people are out there on the Web. We are not alone! Anne

it good to see that theres a group of good people out there that see this and are doing something to stop the killing

Feel real good. Jsut sent e-mail to President Clinton reminding him that the deaths of unborn children are equal to the deaths of the Littleton students and teacher. It was so easy to jot my thoughts and send them by e-mail. Thanks

I'VE HAD MULTIPLE ABORTINS PLEASE HELP ME ... cHRISTINA

Response from the Webmaster to Christina and anyone else who is in need of help either (1) because of a problem pregnancy or (2) because you have had an abortion and now regret it:  Go to the section in our site entitled Crisis Pregnancy Help.  It's for both problem pregnancies and the aftermath of abortion.   There are phone numbers for national organizations who can put you in touch with someone local.  Help is available.  Don't give up!

Date: 5/29/99 Time: 12:16:32 PM

This note comes from the real Christina. It is unfortunate that someone extremly sick would put a message like that on a site that is supposed to help people. I can not believe that someone could make up such sick and disturbing lies.

The only thing that I can do for now is feel sorry for you. You have been trying to get to me for a long time now. Sorry it is still not working. Fortunaltly for me we are able to trace the origin of your note. Its just a matter of time before I find out who you are.

Shall we give these readers a little history on you. The past three times you have contacted me you've threatened to kill my 5 year old child. I have the resources to find you and you will pay. I was going to let it go, but since you have decided to go after my son, I will not stop until you are prosecuted to the full extend of the law.

I don't think you will be able to make too many phone calls from prison.

Hello!

Just an FYI, the links for the JULY newsletter are not functioning properly...

Hope all is well.

God bless, wgp

Date: 8/18/99    Time: 5:00:11 PM

Dear wgp, thanks for the sharp eye. I knew it was wrong, but have been unable to update. Kept getting an error message which neither the host or Microsoft Front Page Tech Support had ready info on. So today I tried it again - and now it updates just fine. You've heard "what goes away by itself can come back by itself..." We'll hope this stays away. And, again, thanks for being on the alert.

Jesus loves you with a perfect love. There are prophecy teachings in the first person and a warning for America on http://www.inhiskingdom.com. In the warning it is mentioned that American is being judged for the killing of babies. The babies are with Jesus but the blood will be on America. I love you In His Love Norb Hackmann

Thank you for this wonderful resource!

Special Note to all those who realise that ProLife is NOT a Republican position: it's a HUMAN position. There are many of us working from within the Democratic Party to change this tragic and misguided "policy". But if we are to succeed we need to contact each other and get organized.

i was dismayed to find your site but pleasantly surprised to see that the downstate areas of suffolk and nassau counties and new york city are not represented. i guess we are a bit more progressive than you people in the upstate regions and are more concerned with women's rights than you are. it is unfortunate for me as a woman capable of independent thought that organizations such as this exist. i'll just have to dig deeper into my pocket to support planned parenthood, now, etc. maybe someday you people will stop trying to legislate your religious beliefs, which don't happen to be my religious beliefs, over my body. if you don't want an abortion, then by all means don't have one -- who is forcing any of you to have one anyway? but you're working your butts off to restrict my freedom to an abortion on demand, aren't you? this country was founded on the right of religious freedom -- i guess only your religious freedom matters and not mine. therese m. policastro

Therese

Thanks for letting me know that the e-mail didn't work for you. Please use the one on the home page if you have more to say. I'll fix the others with the next update. Sorry I couldn't send you the e-mail address - we don't have yours. We don't collect information on our visitors.

To answer a couple of your points, no, we don't try to represent the downstate area. We are very much a local organization and we are upstate. There are other pro-life organizations downstate.

It's interesting that you say we're forcing our religious beliefs on you. When I took a quick look at my list of pro-life organizations (many of which are on our link list), I do see religious groups like Jews, Muslims, Catholics, and non-Catholic Christians. But I also see Atheists for Life, Libertarians for Life, as well as Gays and Lesbians, Feminists, and Democrats. Doesn't sound like a lot of religious commonality, especially for the avowed atheists. So I think it's not really a religious issue, even though the media paint it that way.

You say, "Where there's no choice, there's no life." Really? Even slaves, who certainly had no choice, were demonstrably alive. However, if someone else chooses to make you dead, then you have absolutely no choice. That's where we differ in our opinions, I think. Pro-life people want the child to live, so that the child also has a choice.

Thanks for writing and have a nice day.

Anne the Webmaster

I sure am glad to see some activity on this site. Aside pro-abort downstaters who think the prolife movement is all about oppressing women, their really hasn't been much activity here.

Bi-Monthly is way to infrequent to update!

Jason, you're absolutely right. I'd love to see more comments here and we're trying to get the rest of the site updated on a more regular basis. Anne the Webmaster

You have a lot of good stuff on your website. I am a pro-life supporter and I also am involved in an animal rights organization as well. I have just created our website (it is our first one). It'll be re-created shortly with different ideas, but I wanted to extend my offer to help you with yours. It seems it can use a little tune-up (although it is a nice site). Please let me know. I'd love to help that way.

Please also send me info on membership fees and an application. My address is (valid until April 30th):

Carrie Leo 4 Teakwood Lane Fairport, NY 14450

Thanks & God Bless Your Efforts, Carrie

I am a Christian and I believe human from conception. Abortion should be banned, with reasonable exceptions for the health of the mother.

This is my first visit and was excited to find an active site just for Rochester Pro Life. I Appreciate the Rochester News section and would be interested in information regarding the positions of area political candidates and active officials on the abortion issue. Keep up the Great work out there. ENR

My husband and I were once involved in the fertility clinic madness. I did stop taking the meds, after I lost two pregnancies. We since then have had two healthy boys, on our own. And I believe that they are miracles. However I know the pain, one goes through, trying to conceive. It is an emotional roller coaster. I believe, rather than human life being "wasted" , why not give another couple the chance to love a child, that they are longing for. On another note, I, myself, dont know if I could "give away" my unborn child/children, and never know them. We need to put more preassure on the fertility clinics to "control" these dreadful situations..Does a couple really need 30 embryo, does a woman need to have 6 children at once, I think its foolish, dangerous to mom and babies, and dont forget the financial BURDEN of 6 children at once-do they even get loved? The McCoy's from Iowa would never have survived if it were not for the outpouring of support from the people who gave it. And I dont think that having six babies at a time, or five for that matter should be rewarded the way it was. "MIRACLE"...I think GREED was a better word.

It is a shame that New York is still an abortion loving state after 9/11/2001. New York still allows underaged girls to get abortions without parental consent, allows Medicaid funding and allows partial-birth abortion. Michael Bloomberg is a true jerk for using taxpayer dollars for abortions in public hospitals after 9/11. Elliot Spitzer is a jerk for wanting to close all of the Crisis Pregnancy Centers and trying to silence Pro-Lifers. George Pataki is a traitor from turning Pro-Life to Pro-Choice. All of these pro-choice politicians and others are greedy people who don't truly care about women, but money and votes because the abortionist lobbyists give a lot of campaign funds. Let's all hope for an end to Roe Vs. Wade. Let's hope Bush won't be a "compassionate conservative" on legalized murder
